What are the dates of your Mallorca bike trips?

All of our self guided bike tours in Mallorca are entirely tailor made. You can choose what day you want to travel and what riding you want to do. If you'd like to experience some guided riding but without being guided every day of your trip, ask about our guided rides which you can join subject to season.

How fit do I need to be?

The Mallorcan climbs are tough but not like Tour de France Alpine ascents. You still need to be fit to climb in the mountains but you can also ride coastal routes and the flat interior without needing any significant training.

When is the best time to go cycling in Mallorca?

The Spring, between April and June and the fall, between September & October are the best time to ride in Mallorca. You can ride in the summer if you ride early enough as the midday sun is too hot. Winter time sees much of the island close down.

Where is good to cycle in Mallorca?

We recommend staying in Port Pollensa in the north of the island but you can also stay in the mountains or the flatlands depending on your preference.

What a fantastic cycle trip on the coast to coast flatlands tour in Majorca. Cycling through rural Majorca was wonderful. The hotels were amazing, the transfer of both ourselves and the baggage was professional and timely, the routes were fantastic - just the right length and mostly on quiet country roads. We can not recommend this trip or Love Velo for the organisation highly enough.

Day 1 - Arrival
Arrive into Palma airport and we will pick you up and take you to your hotel just outside Llucmajor in the rural heartlands of Mallorca.
Day 2 - Llucmajor to Cala d'Or

Your cycling adventure from Puig De Ros hotel to Cala d'Or offers a perfect blend of picturesque scenery and gentle riding. Setting off, you’ll embrace the freedom of the open road, weaving through charming Mallorcan villages and lush countryside. You can detour down to Es Trenc beach, with its crystal blue waters and the soft white sands, before riding through Santanyi and into Cala d'Or
Day 3 - Cala d'Or to Cala Millor
40km total distance
From Cala d’Or to Cala Millor, your ride unfolds along one of Mallorca’s most scenic coastal routes. With the sun on your back and the Mediterranean sparkling beside you, you’ll glide through a string of charming seaside villages and hidden coves. This journey invites you to explore the island’s quieter corners, where the pace slows, and the beauty speaks for itself. As you arrive in Cala Millor, you’ll be greeted by its expansive golden beach – the perfect place to unwind and celebrate another unforgettable day in the saddle.
Day 4 - Cala Millor to Can Picafort
35km total distance
Today is one of our favourite flat rides in Mallorca. Pick up the Arta Greenway and spend the morning riding on the disused railway line. The stations still exist so you can stop at those that have been converted into cafes and enjoy some local tapas, before riding on to Arta and eventually into the northern coastal town of Can Picafort.
Day 5 - Can Picafort to Port de Pollensa
30km total distance
Your ride from Can Picafort to Cap Formentor is an awesome trip along the bay until you reach Alcudia. From here, you'll head to Pollensa old town through agricultural fields, before looping up to the cycling Mecca of Port de Pollensa.
Day 6 - Cap Formentor
42km total distance
Today is an optional rest day, or you could take on Cap Formentor. Be warned though, this 40km ride has over 1,000m of elevation so you need to be fit for it. If you'd rather do something less challenging, we have lots of options for you.,

The ride to the iconic Cap Formentor lighthouse, perched at the island’s northern tip is Mallorca at its most breathtaking, with a route that winds through jagged limestone peaks and offers ever-changing vistas before reaching the lighthouse.
Day 7 - Pollensa and the Flatlands
38km total distance
Embark on a tranquil loop ride through Mallorca’s picturesque flatlands, where the island’s charm unfolds at a leisurely pace. This route takes you past golden fields, quaint villages, and ancient windmills that dot the landscape. The gentle terrain is perfect for spinning the legs and soaking up the tranquillity of rural Mallorca. Along the way, stop at a traditional café for a taste of local life before continuing through quiet roads framed by dry-stone walls and lush greenery. It’s a day of cycling that blends relaxation, beauty, and the timeless appeal of Mallorca’s countryside.

Today you will be taken back to Palma airport after a trip where you'll create lasting memories.
