Road Cycling Tour in Lake Garda

After picking you up at Verona airport, we’ll take you to your hotel to settle in before heading out on your first ride. The route leads to the San Valentino ski resort on Mount Baldo, with a scenic climb from Avio through Valle dei Molini. This challenging ascent averages 7.5% gradient, with short sections exceeding 10%, before a thrilling descent back to the start.

Starting in Riva del Garda, we head towards Trento, passing the serene Lake Cavedine before tackling the legendary climb up Mount Bondone. This 10-kilometre ascent, with a steady 8% gradient, is a true test for climbers, immortalised by Charly Gaul's iconic 1956 Giro d'Italia victory in a snowstorm. Covering nearly 100 kilometres, this ride offers both a challenge and a taste of cycling history.

This stunning route tackles the climbs of Ballino and Durone Passes, winding through Tione, Valle del Chiese, and Valle di Ledro. You'll experience serene roads, breathtaking views, and five sparkling lakes—Garda, Tenno, Roncone, Ampola, and Ledro. A true “roller coaster” ride with constant ups and downs, this challenging route covers over 2000 metres of elevation. The final stretch along the iconic Ponale road leads you back to Riva del Garda.

The Affi Loop is a classic group ride beloved by Upper Garda cyclists. Starting along Lake Garda’s picturesque eastern shore, with its charming lakeside views and short tunnels, the route gently climbs towards Costermano. A fun roller-coaster section leads into Valle dell’Adige, where vineyards and the majestic Castle of Avio come into view. Despite its length, the gentle gradients make this scenic ride enjoyable for all levels.
